Review
KeyboardTest is an application that will let you test your keyboard and check if it is working correctly. With this program you will be able to check your keyboard LEDs (the Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock indicator lights) and measure your typing speed. KeyboardTest comes with many keyboard layouts so that you can choose the one of them which is more similar to your keyboard.
KeyboardTest enables you to test some keyboards at the same time and to use a tutor to practice your typing skills. When you click on the Test LEDs buttons, your Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock keys might be pressed automatically, this may confuse you and make you lose some time for trying to fix it. On the developer's website it says that if you close the program, everything will go back to the way it was, but sometimes that doesn't happen. The application supports up to a hundred keyboards. If there is no keyboard layout similar to the one you have, you can always download new ones on the developer's website.
The software comes with a help menu that can provide you with some extra information in case you need it. |
- It allows you to check and scan your keyboard keys.
- It comes with a test mode.
- It's easy to use.
|
- It can mess your keyboard configuration.
- The price is pretty high for the functionality it provides you with.
